My mother and grandmother were born in Paris and French was spoken in our home the whole time I was growing up. I have lived and worked in Paris and French Switzerland and traveled throughout France on and off for over 50 years. I studied French in elementary school, junior high, high school, and all through my college years and speak, read, and write French fluently.
